About Us
Welcome! My name is Jesse Bourgeois. I am a Practicing Kinesiologist (6 years), Certified Personal Trainer (9 years), and UESCA Running Coach (4 years) living on the traditional and unceded territory of the Ktunaxa people in beautiful British Columbia, Canada.
Athletic Running was born out of a combination of time in the trenches helping runners and recreational athletes recover from and prevent future injuries, and a love of reading research.
Our goal is to use science to create simple, effective, and time-efficient strength programs that will help you become a faster, more durable, more athletic, and dare we say, more joyful runner.
